Responsibilities

  • Safety Analysis: creates or approves the Safety Analysis; interfaces with SW engineers and
    MME Safety System Architects as needed;
  • Feasibility analysis of the safety requirements coming from the safety central team;
  • Interfacing with Safety System Architect on safety architecture, requirements, safety
    analysis;
  • Creation/ Supporting preparation of the SW Safety Manual;
  • Contributes /reviews the extension of the current architecture for safety requirements
    propagation;
  • Creation of the SW Architecture extension with Safety Requirements Implementation;
  • Safety Activities planning and tracking together with Project Manager (SM checks during
    safety case review that all safety activities are performed);
  • Hold safety trainings in the dev teams as needed (activities inside the projects);
  • Involved in the review of the SW safety plan, SW safety concept, SW safety analysis, tools
    evaluation and qualification, SW safety case and overall, SW release via Safety Sign-off
    activity;
  • Acts upon and escalates project safety issues, identification and reporting of safety
    deviations following the escalation path to Org Safety Manager;
  • Interface with quality manager, project manager, quality engineer;
  • Reviews and signs on DFMEA;
  • Contribute to SW Safety Assessments Plan;
  • Interface with CTO Safety Assessors team to track safety assessments and follow-up on
    results + support with safety findings closure (New);
  • Customer interface (related to project safety deliverables, inputs to DIA for SW part).
