Senior .Net Engineer

Profile:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution;
Minimum of 10 years in software development, with several years recent experience in Software Solutions Architecture;
Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET framework, specifically C#. Experience with mobile devices is essential; knowledge of Xamarin or WPF is highly beneficial;
Strong expertise in designing relational databases;
Strong experience in migrating applications from on premise to cloud, Azure is preferred (rehosting, replatforming);
Familiarized with Agile methodologies;
Demonstrated experience with full project lifecycle development;
Familiarity with postal, retail, logistics, or financial sectors is an advantage;
Proven client-facing skills, with direct experience in managing client interactions beyond internal development;
Ability to travel periodically to Escher’s Dublin office and European client sites to support project needs;
Strong skills in adapting communication to various audiences, from project teams to executives. Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology teams;
Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, internal resources, and third parties;
Capable of working independently or within a collaborative team environment;
Skilled in prioritizing and executing tasks in high-pressure settings and effectively communicating changes in priorities;
Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop new features or extend the existing ones basing on best known quality standards;
Lead the more junior team members in terms of quality standards;
Evaluate and approve system and interface designs, providing guidance on alternative solutions as necessary;
Work closely with the software architects.
