Profile

• Git version control system experience;
• 2+ years experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift continuous deployment and Administration, development and maintenance of resources in Azure Cloud;
• Azure Devops CI/CD improvement activities;
• Experience with Python scripting, Powershell;
• Experience with Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible;
• Openshift platform (PaaS structure, namespaces, pods, networking, quotas…);
• Network security for services in Azure cloud;
• Application workspaces experience: (Azure Databricks, Azure function App, Azure Snowflake, Azure ML, Azure Synapse );
• Maintenance Devops skills (troubleshooting pipelines errors, administration of permissions in azure Devops …);
• Requires a bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field;
• Experience in successfully deploying Platform as a Service (PaaS);
• Have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing both internal and external resources to get the job done;
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Cloud and Automation;
• Self-starter, motivator, and ability to work within a Team and solo;
• Big data knowledge is a plus.

Project Overview

• We are looking for a Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The current project consists of migrating some Big Data platforms to Azure.
• We are looking for a DevOps profile to enrich and improve our growing Kubernetes/OpenShift PaaS structure. Activities will be undertaking CI/CD improvement activities and participating to system integration tasks.
• Candidate should have 2+ years’ experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift continuous
  deployment and formation on engineering/IT tracks.

Responsibilities

• Automating Building of Application code using Build Pipeline in Azure DevOps (The application includes Spark backend and Qlick frontend);
• Expertise in capacity planning and resources usage optimization;
• SAFe, part of Train and dedicated scrum teams;
• Troubleshoot Applications and Infrastructure resources hosted in Azure;
• Support all Cloud Resources in Azure;
• Enrich and improve our growing Kubernetes/OpenShift PaaS structure;
• All Cloud Initiatives the company is looking to implement or integrate to in the future;
• Develop monitors and alerts for errors and performance;
• Develop and manage CI/CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible;
• Work in an Agile environment to support individuals on proper DevOps practices;
• Manage and support customer environments in Microsoft Azure Cloud;
• Manage the full release process;
• Develop, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline to system integration environment.
