Tasks:

  • Planning and coordination of integration;
  • Creating a detailed integration plan that covers all steps, milestones, and timeframes for integrating the various vehicle components such as brake lines, sensors, and air lines;
  • Coordinating the various teams and resources to ensure that all components are integrated into the vehicle on time and to a high standard of quality;
  • Technical leadership of the integration team;
  • Leading the team of engineers and technicians working on the integration of the components;
  • Supporting and guiding the team in the technical implementation and resolution of integration issues;
  • Conducting integration checks and tests;
  • Organizing and conducting functional tests and integration checks to ensure that all systems work together as intended;
  • Coordinating and performing tests, such as stress tests and long-term tests, to validate the functionality and durability of the components;
  • Analyzing and resolving integration issues;
  • Identifying technical issues during the integration process and developing solutions;
  • Collaborating with other departments to quickly resolve technical challenges and ensure that the integration process is not delayed;
  • Documentation and reporting;
  • Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation on integration processes, test results, and changes made;
  • Regular reporting to management and other stakeholders on the progress of the integration, any problems and solutions;
  • Supplier management and coordination;
  • Responsibility for cooperation with external suppliers for components such as BS, BVA, RDS, VDC, air ducts, brackets and fasteners;
  • Ensuring that all delivered components meet specifications and are available on time;
  • Ensuring system compatibility;
  • Verifying and ensuring that all integrated components are compatible with each other and that no conflicts arise in the overall vehicle model;
  • Commissioning and performing simulations and tests to validate the compatibility of components in the overall vehicle architecture;
  • Responsibility for continuous improvement;
  • Implementing lessons learned and identifying optimization potential to improve the integration process and the quality of integrated components in future projects;
  • Implementing improvement suggestions and innovative solutions to optimize integration technology;
  • Responsible for timely release, including release documentation;
  • Responsibility for the timely release of all relevant components, including the creation and maintenance of release documentation;
  • Ensuring that all components have undergone the necessary tests and validations and that all necessary release steps are completed on time to ensure smooth production and delivery of the vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the successful integration of vehicle components;
  • Overall responsibility for the integration of brake lines, brake wear indicators, wheel speed sensors, vertical dynamic control lines, air lines, and their fasteners and brackets into the vehicle;
  • Ensuring that the integration of these components meets technical requirements and quality standards and is in line with vehicle objectives;
  • Responsibility for project management;
  • Responsibility for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the integration of all relevant components and subsystems into the vehicle;
  • Monitoring compliance with time frames, resources, and budget requirements throughout the integration process;
  • Responsibility for quality and compliance;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant technical standards, regulations, and safety requirements during the integration of vehicle components;
  • Responsibility for quality assurance throughout the entire integration process, from development to series production;
  • Responsibility for interdisciplinary collaboration;
  • Coordinating and working closely with other departments such as manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, vehicle development, and suppliers to ensure successful integration;
  • Responsibility for communication between different departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of components;
  • Responsibility for change management and approval;
  • Responsibility for change management and the implementation of adjustments during component integration;
  • Identification and proactive resolution of integration problems and errors;
  • Execution of and assurance of complete approval documentation in the corresponding tools.
