QA Engineer

Profile:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in QA area;
  • Previous experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright);
  • Previous experience with Postman;
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages to create and modify automated test scripts and support automation effort;
  • Familiarity with various types of testing, such as API, functional, usability, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing;
  • Experience in defining test scenarios, test steps, and expected outcomes;
  • Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall);
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects, with a systematic approach to problem-solving;
  • A proactive approach to learning new testing tools, techniques, and best practices, with a commitment to improving QA processes and personal development;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
  • Very good English skills (spoken and written).

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases;
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, and compatibility testing;
  • Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using issue-tracking tools; Monitor debugging process results;
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developer teams) to identify system requirements;
  • Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process;
  • Create and update user documentation, test cases, and testing guidelines;
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Position Overview

  • We are looking for QA Engineer to join our team in a challenging project in the ecommerce field in collaboration with our client – one of the biggest European player in eCommerce and postal applications.
  • In this role, you will contribute to the customization and implementation of a retail platform, a state-of-the-art solution designed to enhance customer and user experiences across all channels and devices. The goal of this project is to develop a platform that provides customers with a seamless and consistent service experience while supporting a variety of customer interaction points, including Pickup and Dropoff (PUDO), mobile apps, kiosks and traditional counter service.
