Integration Test Lead Engineer

This position requires a self-motivated professional to work for one of the biggest players from the Automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Candidates can look forward to regular client contact, a role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation, and:

  • Lead, guide and monitor the Testing Team for analysis, design, implementation and execution of test cases, test procedures and test suites.
  • Acts as primary interface for all System Integration Test related matters towards the System Test Manager
  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
  • Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
  • Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement.
  • Reports the test status during test execution and after test sessions to appropriate
    departments.
  • Review and analyze product requirements to design and develop testing artifacts and
    provide input to product development teams on missing / deficient requirements
  • Perform data analysis on test results using various tools
  • Develop and release all relevant SYS.4 deliverables in compliance with Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP) and customer expectations.
  • Perform detailed work assignments provided by the mentor or team member, by applying established and defined engineering techniques
  • Work assignments primarily involve entry level or intermediate work
  • Develop and execute test cases for bench tests
  • Support complete Integration test team (HCC, BCC)
  • Ensures re-use from parallel projects
  • Align with system architect + FO’s

Skills/Experience

  • University degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications, Informatics, Automation or very good technical background
  • Experienced with the following: Diagnostics (CANAlyzer/DDT2000 or equivalent), ECU parameterization: calibrations / Resoft ECU/ engine optimization/ depollution ECU team / general automotive expertise
  • Technical skills: logic gates / binary transformations / Simulink / logic thinking / programming logic
  • Driving license: considered an advantage
  • Structured approach, initiative and flexibility
  • Self-confidence and strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of English, written and spoken, French considered an advantage
  • Basic electronics knowledge

The Integration Test Lead Engineer is responsible for the system integration level test specification design, test execution, and test report for all assigned projects based on the system architecture, system requirements, and software requirements within a project
