Profile

  • 4 years’ experience in developing low level software products/components in real time
    embedded software environment (drivers, bootloaders, network servers);
  • V cycle development process (specification, architecture, design, coding, integration,
    verification, support);
  • Work experience in C or Assembler;
  • Software engineering methods and tools;
  • Good knowledge of Operating system internals (Linux, RTOS), Computers architecture,
    Processors architecture (Power PC, x86);
  • Advanced level in English;
  • Open mind-set, good communication skills and good team working.

Project Overview

  • Developing low level components of real-time software (drivers, OS components),
    following all the steps of the development cycle process as well as the associated software
    engineering in terms of methods and tools (including unit testing, integration testing and
    documentation).
  • Industrial and certification constraints (DO178B and C, DAL A to C software) and the
    opportunity to visit ‘Embedded production center’ based to Toulouse in France.

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded real-time software components (OS level) in accordance with
    development process from the high-level specification analysis to the unit testing,
    integration testing, and the validation on the target hardware;
  • Achieve the integration and verification activities with the hardware using test means
    such as probes, bus analyzers and emulators (Trace32, JTAG);
  • Ensure the related support activity: failure report analysis, answer to technical requests,
    root cause analysis, test results investigations, documentation, formal explanation of an
    issue;
  • Be mindful of the certification process and the formalities required.
